Migrated to US in 2002, in pursuit of the American dream, learned the language, the culture and how this country rewards those that work hard and have integrity. Having three jobs to support my parents and siblings in Colombia, as forklift driver in the mornings, server at nights, and hotel room attendant on the weekends, my talent was best suited in hospitality.
I moved through the ranks and became a General Manager of a Marriott hotel by 2005. I was able to have a very successful career, making me an award-winning with Marriott and Hilton. It was a very rewarding experience, being the leader of different properties as General Manager and Regional Manager.
My career brough me great joy and it was the connecting with strangers, delivering superior satisfaction, making an impact of their experience, what I loved the most from hospitality. That combined with the relocating to multiple states and cities, that made encounter very deficient realtors. Those two reasons motivated me to get my own Real Estate license, but also lead me to be the kind of Realtor that cares about the experience and be a partner of the journey of buying, selling a home or investing in a property.
Personally, I am married to the love of my life Sandra, love to travel and get to know new places with my 2 daughters, I enjoy family and friends gatherings and if you put Salsa, I will be in the dancing floor! I am also a soccer fan and during the world cup, I will be missing in action.
SANDRA Norena
I am originally from the beautiful Medellin, Colombia. My first passion was in designed and pursuit my studies in Graphic and Fashion Design. While in college, I took a leap of faith in my early twenties and started my own business. Successfully running the business for 6 years, I gained invaluable experience in business operations and customer service.
After getting married, I relocated to TN, then moved to GA and now FL, in the beautiful Saint Augustine, where we now reside with our lovely daughters, Sophia and Samantha, and our furry four-legged son Biko. I loved spending time with my love ones, exploring the beautiful beaches, and traveling to new destinations, both domestically and internationally, whenever we get the opportunity to do it.
I was always attracted to Real Estate, from the design aspects, but also because it became a great way to connect with different people, but the part that I enjoy the most, is how we can make an impact on a family’s most important financial journey and how our partnership, can make a difference on their Real Estate and financial goals.
